HISTORY
1969​
A group of dedicated individuals joined together to vision and brainstorm a Campus Ministry site on UW-Stouts campus. The vision was to gather the university community together to share the "Good News" and engage in conversation about the unique Christian traditions and values that have shaped the lives of many.
1975
The Ministry Incorporated Board was formed to facilitate the joint ownership and maintenance of the Blue House, which was located on the University's North Campus.
2012- Present
The Ministry building moved to a new building in the center of campus across from the Clock Tower. The center became jointly owned by the ELCA Lutheran Church and the Roman Catholic Diocese of LaCrosse.

The Lutheran Campus Ministry Board was formed which consists of two lay members from the three local ELCA congregations.
​
The Ministry continues to serve Stout students by providing a vital and active Christian presence on campus.
